Help Bring Awareness and Change
Most people are not aware of the struggles that these amazing animals must endure. As you learn the facts and fiction of this story, you will realize that we can no only help these animals live a joyful life, we can help the species as a whole to survive in the best, most natural way possible.
I have, like most people, been in awe of these beautiful creatures, but I learned that thier beauty was brought on by very questionable practices. I’m going to donate 25% of the proceeds to go to a charity that will help them.
Join the Bidding today, and lets do some good.
Portion of the Proceeds will go to charity to help nurture, heal, and care for these amazing animals.
The aesthetic appeal of the white tiger comes at a staggering biological price. While the public is distracted by the marketing of "cute, blue-eyed cubs," the industry suppresses the reality of their internal physiological failures.
As early as 1973, research in Science documented that the same gene responsible for the white coat causes a universal neurological abnormality: the optic nerve is miswired to the wrong side of the brain. This means that while not every white tiger shows outward strabismus (crossed eyes), their brains are fundamentally unable to process visual information correctly.
To maintain the "perfect" image for big-cat social media accounts, exhibitors hide the litany of defects inherent to the trade:
Immune system deficiencies and lung development issues.
Cleft palates and misaligned, jutting jaws.
Scoliosis (spinal deformities) and shortened limbs.
Heart abnormalities, such as vascular ring anomalies around the trachea.
